Twilight Parties....yes plural

Just in case you were not aware or may have forgotten, Channy and I are planning one heck of a Twilight party for THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH @ 7:30 PM. This party is for those who do not want to wait until Friday night to see the show or cannot get tickets. We are planning on having the party from about 7:30 - 10:00 pm. Following the party those who would like to can join us for the midnight showing. Now, if you have tickets for the Friday night show, you are still able to come to this party/movie too. We want it to be a lot of fun, so we have planned games, food and prizes, not to mention all the Twilight conversation anyone can handle.

I am aware this is over two months away, but wanted everyone to keep the night open. We have already been working hard and would love it if we have at least 35 people join us for the fun.

There will be more information about OUR party, so stay tuned.

Help Save Forks High School Brick Building!

Twilight Lexicon has informed their fans that the original Forks High School had been condemned and is in danger of being knocked down. So what is it you can do to help? Well let me tell you. Twilighters For Forks, a non-profit organization set up to help benefit the city of Forks, specifically The Forks High School, is hoping all of the wonderful Twilight fans out there will donate a few dollars to help keep the school. If you have a pay pal account with a couple extra dollars in it, please donate. I think we can all agree $2.00 for the wonderful part Forks High has played in our lives is nothing at all. Ok ladies. We have the information on how to purchase additional seats for the Friday evening show at the District.

YOU WILL NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO GET YOUR TICKET!!!

Login into your paypal account. There is a section where is says "send money to" (or something like that). You will put this email in there klemz88@gmail.com. The cost is $21.00 if you want a goody bag (I do not know what is in there) and $16.00 without. Here is what needs to be in the comments.

Below is the latest on the Twilight movie. THEY HAVE GOTTEN ANOTHER THEATER. You can purchase seats now. The email is a little hard to understand, but if you want a ticket, you can buy them. You may get the 2nd showing though. Peggy Pyle is going to email Kirsten in the morning and see what is going to happen with those with a waiting list..........like us. Sorry for the confusion, I will update you when I get anything new.

Hello Twilight Fans!I have some very good news to all of you waiting for more openings to our event!We have secured a second theater and are now opening the event to more guests. The second theater will be showing the movie at a later time that evening, about an hour and a half later than the first showing. This will allow us to manage the crowds a little better but everyone will still be able to gather for the activities and games that will be happening before the movies. We will do our best to get as many as possible in the first theater however, depending on the size of your group or when you purchase, we may ask if you are willing to see the later show. We will have more details shortly but we wanted to give you a "heads up" on the situation.A note about admission prices for the event! As originally stated when we opened the event, any admission purchased before September 13, 2008 will be at a discounted price of $21 for admission with a goody bag or $16 for admission without a goody bag. If you pay after September 13, 2008, the price will be $26 for admission with a goody bag or $21 for admission without a goody bag.We are now also taking orders for the Snack Pack deal. For an additional $10 per person you will get: one 20oz bottle of soda, a personal sized box of popcorn and one theater sized candy. By purchasing the Snack Pack deal you will be able to bypass the concession stand and pick up your treats as you walk into the theater. This is an optional purchase and you are not obligated to buy it.When you purchase your tickets, please state in the notes: how many wristbands you are purchasing, how many want goody bags and if you are purchasing any Snack Pack deals. Omitting this information will cause a ton of extra work as we send e-mails back and forth to try to sort out your purchase. New Slogan Contest
Twilight Teez has announced a contest that begins today. According to webmaster, Brian:

In the spirit of Stephenie’s contest from last year to introduce new character shirts for Bella, Emmett, Carlisle, Esme, and Jasper, we are hosting our own contest for Rosalie, Renesmee, and an alternate Edward Fan Club shirt. The contest will be open for fan submissions starting on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008 at 8:00 am PST, so get your imagination engines revving. The winner for each character shirt design will receive a Signature Edition Fashion ring. The contest will run for one week, and will officially close at 11:00 pm PST on September 10, 2008.

Stephenie has put out a FAQ on Breaking Dawn. There are many spoilers, so if you haven't finished yet................you are getting too much sleep. :) Check out the questions, you will find out tons of information.

Midnight Sun
I found a website called SupportMidnightSun.com The purpose of this website is to support Stephenie Meyer and her unpublished book. Those in charge of the website have asked people to write letters to Stephenie in support of her finishing Midnight Sun. There are a few different guidelines to follow. If you would like to write a letter you will find the information you need here. I for one will be writing my letter, I soooo want her to finish the book!

I must say I did read all 12 chapters of Midnight Sun. I have never been one for self control, especially when it comes to anything Twilight. Sorry to those who are upset with me, but it is really good!

Twilight Movie - 11.21.08
For those who are going to the Twilight Premier on Friday night, Utah Twilight Events has confirmed we are still on as planned. Below is time and location information. Again, the time to start the festivities may change. I will update you when we have more information.

Time: 5ish for Twilight activities; 7-7:30ish for movie (time pending)
Place: The District Megaplex 20 Theaters 11400 S. Bangerter

Again, if you would like to go to this premier and do not have a ticket, please let me know. I have a waiting list started (Melissa, Lisa and Marlena). For those who are unable to go and have a ticket, we have people who will purchase them from you.

For those of you who were not able to get a ticket or want to see the movie right at midnight, well we've got you covered too!! Channy and I are planning to have a little party Twilight Style on Thursday night. After the party, we will head off to see the midnight showing of Twilight (yes, I am going to see it twice). Even if you cannot come to the show, stop by for the party. We will have food, games and a room full of Twilight fans. Does it get any better? I will get more information as it becomes available. According to this website, we only have like 79 more days!
