Black Island Farms is back once again this year with their famous Twilight corn maze, only this time it has more of an Eclipse theme. This year’s maze features the likenesses of Bella, Edward and Jacob from Eclipse. Check out more below: 
Black Island Farms is again inviting people this fall to harvest memories, from the hayrides, slides built from giant hay stacks and freshly picked bounty at the farmers market available during the Harvest Festival. People can also brave a cornfield maze.
This year’s maze features the likeness of Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart of the “Twilight” movie series. Those attempting to find the one exit from the more than five miles of twists, turns and dead ends likely will spend more than an hour to make their way out. Anyone smart or lucky enough to make the correct decisions may be able to complete the task in 15 to 30 minutes...

The University of California at San Marcos is offering a Women’s Studies Class that really dives in and looks at all aspects of the books and movies. Per the course description, the class covers “vampire lore, the romantic core of the series, female characters and fans, [and] the depiction of men and masculinity…” So, yes, it’s plausible Taylor Lautner’s abs might come up.

Examines the Twilight saga and the resulting fandom. Explores Twlight in relation to the social and cultural construction of gender and gendered identities in contemporary U.S. culture. Using an intersectional lens emphasizing gender, race, class, sexuality, and belief, provides students with the conceptual and analytical foundations to think more deeply about popular culture and its impact. Covers vampire lore, the romantic core of the series, female characters and fans, the depiction of men and masculinity, religious contexts, race and white privilege, the franchising of Twilight, and various cultural contexts such as abstinence only education and the rise of internet fandoms. This course carries General Education certification in area CC.
