Teen Choice Awards
Don't forget the Teen Choice Awards are tonight. Why do you care, you are not a teenager? Well the cast of Twilight/New Moon will be on. :) You can catch the cast at 8/7 pacific on FOX.
BANDSLAM
For those of you who would like to see an exclusive preview of New Moon, you must see BANDSLAM. The movie can't be all that bad, I think I will be doing some mother/daughter time and take Sam to see it. She will like it. Anyone care to double?
The movie comes on the Friday, August 14th. If you do not want to see the movie, I am sure someone will have the preview on You Tube soon enough. :) I just love technology.
Eclipse News
Catherine Hardwicke on the recasting of Victoria.
"Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke told us at the Teen Choice Awards that Bryce Dallas Howard was an actress they initially wanted to cast as the redhead vampire Victoria. But, according to Hardwicke, the "Twilight" role was probably too small for Bryce back then. It then went to Rachel Lefevre, a less proven newcomer. But as everyone knows, Bryce has now replaced Rachel as Victoria, for whatever reason -- bad timing, another movie -- that you choose to believe. Hey, you don't think they made the "Eclipse" role bigger to interest Bryce? Anyway, Cathy's new "crazy modern" thriller film based on Hamlet" sounds pretty darn cool. And there's gonna be great music too. You gotta love the idea of Hamlet as a young Kurt Cobain. And it's sweet that Catherine feels badly about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson becoming such huge overnight sensations and being thrust into the limelight the way the poor kids have been. "I mean, part of me feels kind of guilty because they are both such indie spirits," Hardwicke reveals. "They are really artists, they like making meaningful art, interesting art."

New Eclipse Cast Member
Its official! Jodelle has been cast in the Twilight Saga, The 3rd Film, Eclipse! she will playing The Newborn Vampire! We are really excited for her. How so many of you had petitioned for Jodelle to be cast as Jane, and now she gets to work alongside the cast and Dakota Fanning who was cast as Jane for New Moon.
If you ask me, Jodelle looks a little young. She like she is maybe 10, 12 tops! I thought Bree was 15 or 16.
Filming Begins on August 17th
I just wanted to remind everyone filming for Eclipse begins on August 17th. They have already started their rehearsals, just not the filming.

Eclipse News
The 25-year-old Adelaide-born and Sydney-based actor’s career has so far focused on small and independent Australian films.
The vampire movies have already made hot properties of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the latter now comes with his own travelling pack of obsessive teen fans.
“I’m in a bit of a daze but it’s a wonderful bit of news,” Samuel exclusively told Confidential from Los Angeles last night.
Samuel has only recently hit Tinseltown after appearing in five small Australian films including Newcastle, where he played a Goth teenager among a group of surfers, September and the upcoming Road Train, where he stars as one of a group of teens terrorised by an out-of-control truck.
In Eclipse he takes on the role of a newborn vampire named Riley, a good-looking university student involved in a plot to kill Stewart’s character Bella.
Samuel is still getting his head around the Twilight phenomenon.
“I managed to catch the film on the way over on the plane,” he said. He admitted he’s not read any of the best-selling books of the series - yet.

Twilight scene it?
How freaking cool is this? The game does not come out until October, but you can pre-order it now at Amazon. The game will cost $29.99.
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON - The highly anticipated sequel to last year’s box-office smash TWILIGHT is the subject of a question-and-answer session featuring surprise members of the cast. In anticipation of being one of the convention’s most talked-about events, the panel will also thrill the crowd with a first look at never-before-seen footage from the film. With THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) return in a captivating new chapter of the action epic that has enthralled audiences around the world.
For those of you who can’t get enough Edward and Bella, EW can announce — exclusively — that Yen Press will be publishing Twilight in graphic-novel form. Though Korean artist Young Kim is creating the art, Meyer herself is deeply immersed in the project, reviewing every panel.
Take a close look at the biology-class sketch we’ve obtained (that’s an empty dialogue bubble between their heads, if you’re wondering). What’s interesting to me is that it doesn’t look simply like an artist’s rendering of Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson. In fact, the characters seem to be an amalgam of Meyer’s literary imagination and the actors’ actual looks. The description of Edward from biology class: “His dazzling face was friendly; open, a slight smile on his flawless lips. But his eyes were cautious.” And Bella: “I was ivory-skinned …. I had always been slender, but soft somehow, obviously not an athlete…” To me, this graphic-novel Bella seems much closer to me to Meyer’s book than to Stewart’s sultry portrayal. The Edward shown is closer to Pattinson, but not a real duplicate; there’s something very winning in the sketch that I don’t see in Pattinson’s all-too-perfect tousled bronze locks and piercing eyes.
Exciting news:Click here to read about a very cool new project that Yen Press is working on: Twilight: The Graphic Novel. The newest issue of Entertainment Weekly (hitting newsstands on Friday) will feature three exclusive illustrations from the book. More information about the book, including the publication date, will be coming. This is the first announcement of the book, so it is still not available for pre-order, but I will post a link as soon as it goes on sale.
